The largest size of small dumpster is the 10 yarder which is capable of holding up to 2 tonnages of waste materials.  It has a dimension of 8 feet wide, 4 feet high and 14 feet long. These dumpsters are commonly used to store unwanted household items such as furniture, boxes, papers, books and even piping. They are perfect for household clearing out or cleanup tasks. Besides, smaller sizes are also available like 2 yards, 3 yards, 4 yards, 6 yards and 8 yards. Some rental companies offer 1.5 yard dumpsters. These sizes are well suited not just for cleanup task but also ideal for remodeling, spring cleaning and party celebrations.

Styles of Baby Dumpster

Baby dumpster comes in three styles- front load, rear load and side load. Let us consider each one of them.

  • Front load small dumpsters – These dumpsters are emptied by front loading garbage trucks. Front load dumpsters have two side slots where the front prongs of front loading trucks are to be inserted. Once the prongs are secured, the dumpster is then lifted over the dump truck turning it upside down thus emptying all the refuse into the hopper of the dump truck.
  • Rear load small dumpsters – These dumpsters are unfilled by rear loading garbage trucks. Rear loading receptacles closely resemble front load dumpsters except that rear load dumpsters are fabricated with winch and hinge system to correspond to the lifting mechanism of rear loading trucks in emptying the refuse into the hopper.
  • Side load small dumpsters – As the name denotes, it is emptied on side loading garbage trucks. These dumpsters are distinguished by their side doors which make dumping a whole lot easier. Side load dumpsters have caster wheels to match the automated lifting system of side loader garbage truck.

Getting the right baby dumpster for your cleanup or small renovation project is hardly difficult because of the wide variety of options from which you can choose.
